Purchasing Manager

About the Role
As a Purchasing Manager with us, you will have a central role in our operations and you will be involved in developing the company's purchasing work and supplier management process. You will work both strategically and operationally and become an important link between the business operations and the legal department to ensure that our agreements and purchasing processes maintain high quality and comply with applicable legislation.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Responsibility for governing documents regarding the company's purchasing process
- Drafting agreements and contract templates
- Supporting contract managers in their purchases and procurements
- Contact person and process manager with authorities (e.g., the Consumer Agency, the Competition Authority, etc.)
- Developing and implementing purchasing plans and purchasing strategies
- Structuring and negotiating long-term framework agreements and other purchases
- Sustainability work regarding purchases
- Regular follow-up of the company's suppliers such as financial strength, compliance with data protection agreements, etc.
- Participating in purchasing projects within the LF group
You will also work to some extent with other corporate legal matters.

Your overall responsibilities are to lead, drive, coordinate, and structure purchasing work and its processes with us. Additionally, negotiations, market analyses, and cost mapping are included. Your work requires close and engaged collaboration with users/requesters throughout the organization where your work will contribute to the company's strategic shift.
Who Are You?
We are looking for someone who is currently working strategically with purchasing. In your role, you are used to ensuring the right quality, cost, security, and sustainability requirements. To succeed in the role, a degree in economics or a law degree is required.
You have at least 5 years of purchasing experience and good knowledge of contracts and law, as well as good negotiation skills, and you speak and write fluently in Swedish. As a person, you are driven with a business mindset. We see it as a strong merit if you have previous experience from the insurance industry.
The position is located in Västerås and you will report to our CFO.
